This policy explains how Yass Financials ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information submitted through yassfinancials.ca. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
When you use the consultation form, we collect the information you enter: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), business name (optional), the service you are interested in, your preferred contact method and your message. We also record the date and time of the request and your IP address to help prevent spam and abuse.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not an automated program, is sending it. Turnstile processes limited technical information about your browser for that purpose.
Please do not send tax documents, slips, social insurance numbers or banking details through the website. Once we are working together, we arrange a secure way to exchange documents.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and arrange a consultation.
- To keep a record of enquiries we have received.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use form submissions for marketing lists.
Where it is stored
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, and form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare database. Cloudflare may process data in Canada and other countries. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you and maintain the website.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of client communication, then delete them. Information that becomes part of a client file is kept as required for tax and accounting records.
Cookies
The website itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection.
Your choices
